I was going through TDG and Scout rosters, signing lists and scholarship lists to try and determine how many scholies were left to distribute for this coming year. It's basically impossible since there isn't any verifiable source for which prior walk-ons have been awarded scholarships, and if any of them are for anything more than the current academic year- but here's my best shot at who is on full ride scholarship for the upcoming year including this year's committments ...

QBs (5)- Nelson, Foreman, Leidner, Streveler, McKinzy
RB (5)- Kirkwood, Cobb, Williams, Edwards, Jones
WR (8)- Fruechte, Hutton, Wilson, Wright, Maye, Harbison, Jones, Wolitarsky, Carter
TE (8)- Goodger, Plsek, Williams, Anyanwu, Wozniak, Elmore, Lingdon, Gibson
OL (16)- Lenkiewicz, T Olson, Epping, Bobek, Bush, McAvoy x 2, Campion, Bjorklund, Pirsig, Hayes, Lauer, Mayes x 2, Rasmussen

DE (6)- Amaefula, Cockran, Keith, Ekpe, Salzwedel, Kafo
DT (7)- Lagania, Ekpe, Hinojosa, Timms, Peppers, Richardson, Stelter
LB (10)- Wilson, Matilus, Campbell, Lynn, Rallis, Wipson, Laster, Dixon, Williams, Poock
CB (5)- Wells, Boddy, Jones, Murray, Myrick
S (7)- Thompson, Levine, Montgomery, Johnson, Travis, McGhee, Blasingame

K(1)- Santoso

Notable walkons who I can't find any documentation as to whether they are receiving any future support include:
TE- Bisch, Mezzenga
OL- Bak, Christenson, Wright, Fahning
DE- Perry
DT- Botticelli
P- Mortell

So by my count we have 78 scholarships accounted for without including any prior walkons who have been "upgraded". 7 spots left plus any extra signing for greyshirts.

What positions and to whom should they go?

13 commits to date. I predict 2 CBs, 2 RBs, 2 WRs and a LB to fill the remaining 7 spots.

Just a reminder, Kill is allowed to "oversign" by 3....SEC can oversign by something like 20, but new rules will limit them to 8?

I didn't look at the dailygopher link, but Kill off the top of his head, listed these players as former walk-ons who have been put on scholarship: Engle, Bak, Christenson, Bottecelli, and Hill. He also said Bisch was on scholarship, but has since earned an academic scholarship so football got one back.
