....from being the HC next year?

Do you think he would still coach the team the rest of the year?

Good man...just not a great coach.

I for one hope they keep his ideas of victory walk, women's clinic, bringing back former greats to speak to the team, the leaders on the scout team each week of a win, and probably some more that I forgot.

He was always very nice to me and my boys. He cares about his players..and ran a disciplined program (see the players that were suspended during the last 4 years), loved our history, loved the U, and the town.

Wish he would have won more...but I'm ready for a new big time coach (experienced) to come in and lead the team.

This sure reminds me of the Jim Wacker days. All you would need to do is change the "Tim Brewster" and the "Jim Wacker" and you could say the exact same thing.

Hiring Tim Brewster was a huge mistake and we may be paying for this for a long time. We need to get a coach that everyone will respect and get behind, kind of like a Tubby Smith for the basketball team. I don't know if they can pull it off, but we need a home run hire.

This program is in BIG trouble right now and we will probably lose the rest of the games this season.

He will be the HC for six more games. I expect he will be fired within a couple days after the Iowa game.

Tim has been nothing but friendly to me. However, its about people being in the
place that matches their skill set. Being a HC at the IA level doesn't appear to
be the best match for him, so far.

There are places in the profession where Tim can excel, though. He will find
his way there, I believe.
