I think I read that he is not playing this season.

Edit: spoke with an Irondale hockey player today. Jimmy is not playing to concentrate on weight lifting like golfinggopher states below. I am all for multisport athletes, but I am even more for bigger, stronger offensive linemen.

I believe Brew stated at the signing social that he skipped hockey this winter to concentrate on lifting weights. Brew also said he is up to 305 lbs or so....

Thanks! Awesome news. Hopefully, unless a redshirt is really needed, he can play some this season to get his feet wet and help with depth.
