How impressive was Stanford on Saturday?

What a great team effort beating Oregon in Eugene. Their defense was fantastic, they had a freshman QB starting his first road game and he looked like the real deal as well. Oregon looked confused that anyone dare play them close and as the game went on starting to look really lost. The Oregon QB, a freshman also, started over throwing receivers and looking his age. Stepan Taylor is an outstanding back and he showed up in a big game. Oregon goes from a shoo-in for the national championship game to a team that won't even play for their conference title. An amazing fall from the top (although K-State may have been even bigger).

They were very impressive: dogged, determined, big and talented, and well-coached. They better watch that coach - he will be approached by a lot of people, pro and college.
