This one's for baller, maybe the best b-ball player ever to surf GopherHole - and clearly the most knowlegable.
Wilt Chamberlain is #1 averaging 22.9 rebound a game, for his career..
Good God! No wonder the dude bedded thousands of women!
Right. To clarify, the question was meant to reflect KG's ranking at the time (his prime) - for that year or set of years. Not all-time.
I have no idea where he ranks all-time......though I do believe it's safe to say he wasn't #1.
jake, safe to say the thread bombed.
now be a good boy and fetch a missed FT with 1:00 left in a 40 point blowout.. no, wait, i've got you confused with KG.
and as KG padded his stats, i know 80% of the view count of this thread is you.

Dude...a rebound is a rebound. The Wolves rarely, if ever, were in 40 point blowouts when KG was here. Give it up already.
Garnet averaged 10.4 rebounds or greater during a nine year stretch with the Wolves from '98 to '07. The Wolves finished .500 or better in every one of those years except the final two. 40 point blowouts were as uncommon as you having a coherent thought.
Here's how uncommon a 40 point blowout is in the NBA: During those 9 years, the Wolves never lost by 40 points or more and only once did they win a game of that type. That's hundreds and hundreds of games and it happened exactly once: a 53 point win over Chicago in '02.
Hyperbole doesn't help your argument.
Where did the poll say to rank KG among NBA all-timers? "During his prime" he led the NBA in boards. Not too shabby.
