Like our HS recruiting, we're ranked high now because we filled the class quickly. We will revert to the mean, which is fine. I trust Fleck.
 

What is the rush to put out these rankings and stuff right now? Lot of portal players not committed and I an sure we are not anywhere close to done yet.

4 may be the highest we get as other players become available. Plus Tony is being paid to write up something and positive spin gets clicks.

I totally get where you're coming from. I'm generally just thankful for anyone willing to cover this team, but yea it seems a little silly. I'm mostly tuned out until the bowl game right now.
 


I see the thread title was adjusted and the 4th place part was removed. Transfer class is still incomplete so we really don't know how good the class is going to be until it is all said and done but I get the need for guys like Liebert to put out content.

The initial approach should have been about how active we have been so far in the portal. We have quite a few more commitments then many of our rivals at this stage in the game. Way too early to even give any thought to ranking the class though, we aren't done and neither are most of the other teams out there. This portal class will almost certainly look very different then it does right now when the dust settles after spring ball.
