How bad was this loss/worst loss since...

I'm going with worst since that Michigan game. The Iowa game would have been nuts if we won this game today.
 

Syracuse. I generally don't care if we get blown out by a team better than us or lose close to a better team (a loss is a loss), but that was the last loss against someone we were better than.
 

This is the worst loss of the Kill era. Worst overall since South Dakota in 2010
 

I was going to say New Mexico State, but that was in a tear everything down year. In year 4, you cannot lose this game.

Yeah. Everything that happened after USD in 2010 and everything that happened in 2011 doesn't qualify, IMO. We knew what we were in for during that time and none of it was shocking.
 


As far as disappointment goes, it's the worst since 55-0 for me.
 

...the last time we lost at Indiana.
 


This was the one game on the Big Ten schedule that should have been inked as a win. If you've made that next step you don't lose games to the worst team in the league. We're obviously still middle of the road.

For me, it was the most dissapointing loss since the bowl game versus Syracuse.
 


This is worse than the time the raccoon got in the copy machine.

Yup, same for me.
 


I don't understand the people who say Syracuse. We were better than Syracuse, but at least they were a 6-6 bowl team.

This is the worst loss since NDSU and NMSU in 2011.

I was thinking about this today and I can't come up with an answer yet. The reason is that we've never been in this position to control our division/conference midway through the season. It's new territory.

Why I think this is the worst since that Michigan game. Believe well remember this for a long, long time.

It should be shocking. We lost to USD.... Being from South Dakota, maybe I can, more than most, understand how truly painful this loss was.

Have you considered writing a "Kitchen Soup for the College Football Fan's Soul" book? I think it would be a hit.
 

I will write it and title it "Kitchen Soup For GopherHolers." It's actually my recipe for beer cheese soup.
