The game last night reminded me of the political situation around all of us. Our poor Gophers remind me of some of the incumbents that are putting up a good fight and trying to say all the right things. In the end, they know it's a done deal. Politicians have got to be thinking of what to do with their lives after November 2nd. How can most of our players not be thinking about what is to come after the Iowa game?
But, this is different than a general election. Certainly, I don't have any say. Neither do the vast majority of the rest of you. So, we'll HOPE that the new coach can do well. The CHANGE will be automatic. Just like the change in our politics, we'll have to decide if we like it.
