Finally a chance for us to take in both games; 11/8 Lehigh and then PSU on 11/9. I never understood why the AD doesn't schedule one or two doubleheaders in November which would draw more outstate fans

Excellent point.

I know Michigan State has been doing that for years, when possible scheduling early-season home games on a Friday and/or Sunday around one of its home football Saturdays.

I agree, this is a good idea.

I would guess the rub is with PTS. They control the lots and don't want to deal with the "confusion" that gets created from their own desire to want to charge for parking separately for the two events. So athletics' hands are tied.

The games are on 2 different days, why would there be a problem with DTS.

Hockey-Football weekends are usually Friday-Sunday hockey games, meaning 3 separate parking admissions.

Maybe within the next 10 years, we'll get a legitimate non-conference home game on the schedule and make it coincide with a late season rivalry football home game.

Though knowing how we tend to do things, they'll schedule Kansas at Williams Arena the Friday night before a Saturday morning Minnesota-Wisconsin game in Madison.
