I was reading an unrelated (to the Gophers) article about Brady Quinn's experience on draft night. Pretty neat article if you're interested.

One excerpt from the article caught my attention:

His mind drifted back to when he was being recruited and when he had to decide between Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame. The reason he went to Notre Dame ultimately was because then-coach Tyrone Willingham never made any promises or guarantees.

This resonates with what we have heard many Gophers recruits (f-ball and b-ball) over the last few years say about Kill and Pitino (if I'm not exaggerating my memories). Pretty neat that there are at least some recruits that see through the bull****.

So much slime and salesmanship in recruiting. It's nice to see that some kids have their heads on straight.
