Northwestern is the Gophers most common homecoming opponent, with having played them 16 times for an 8-6-2 record against Northwestern on homecoming. Michigan is in second at 13 games. Ohio State is the only Homecoming opponent we haven't beaten is Ohio State in 4 attempts.
We've actually played nonconference opponents for homecoming 4 times, all in the 1950's. We won them all.
