That sucks, especially for the home opener.

Not unexpected. The only way this was a night game was if BTN picked it up and that hasn't been an option since they announced their primetime schedule quite a while ago. We have been a bit spoiled though...the vast majority of the home openers in the last decade (and all the home openers under Brew) have been 6 pm or later kickoffs.

You schedule USD for your home opener, you know what you are getting. There was never more then a 5% chance it would be anything other then a split-feed BTN regional game with an 11 AM kick-off.
