Hockey with another lifeless effort; volleyball downs Michigan State

Gophers sleep walk their way to another shutout loss, this time to Denver 3-0.

This team is not very good. Passing was bad, a lot of guys skating around with the puck on their stick for too long. Don't see a whole lot of anything from these guys as a whole. Sick and tired of watching other teams outwork us every time we take the ice.

On the positive side of things, the women's volleyball team beat Mchigan State in their first match without Dieter tonight and have a biggie with Michigan at the Barn tomorrow night!!!.

the vb team struggled, too. They switched setters near the end of game 3. Mia T came in and set ok. Tabi started to hit and we won games 4 and 5 to take the match. Tomorrow will be a bear, but the tix are only a dollar and you can check out the new floor at Williams Arena.
