Wikipedia reports that we are 34-25-2 all-time against Nebraska. We have won the last three meetings. Hopefully we can extend the streak on Saturday.

Winispiedia, whatever that is, says 35-25-2. Both sites seem to list the same games, but maybe one counted wrong.

But what I like is that since Nebraska joined the Big Ten, Minnesota leads the series (6-5). We've one the past three, we're 4-1 in the past five and 6-3 in the past nine. If you would've told me in the 70s or 80s that would happen I would've passed out.

There isn’t an extra level of satisfaction when beating mediocre to bad teams like Rutgers and Northwestern.

But, no matter how dysfunctional Nebraska ever gets at football, I will cherish wins over them. This willingness to kick them when they are down is due to several things, but mostly twofold for me: Lifelong ptsd over that dreadful 1983 game in the dome when they ran up 84, and more recently the yearly detachment from reality exhibited by their Twitter community.
