After hearing Kill talk about his seizure on game day of Michigan and how his wife woke him up at 1am Sunday and told him he missed the game, I'd love to have that game back. I think it was a much bigger distraction than given credit.

Everyone expected him there, Claeys stayed in the booth, they really played that game with no head coach. Might the game have gone a different direction if able to be better prepared?

Things started going bad in second half and there was no defined leader on the sideline.

Please. Kill not being on the sideline is positive motivation during a 3 game win streak but a distraction when we lose? You can't have it both ways.

You missed the point. Kill was suppose to be at Michigan and wasn't. They were able to prepare differently. Difference is where Claeys has been the last three weeks.

Got your point.. I think we all need to remember how close that game actually was. Didn't have the 2nd healthy QB that we had during the 3 game streak, didn't have the open playbook we have now.. Lots of stuff different now including the coaching situation than it was in Ann Arbor.

I wish we could do that Iowa game over.

Go Gophers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mitch is developing a bit of an issue with ball security. His fumble on the first possession at Michigan was significant in setting the tone. We went toe to toe with them the rest of the half. Maybe they don't go off late in the game if they don't have a gift TD early. I thought it was interesting that we fumbled several times on a TD drive at Indiana. Mitch needs to figure out how to take care of the football. One of the keys to the success of this offense, the entire Kill system, is winning the turnover battle. A little less explosive is preferable to risky ball security.

Just what Nebraska and Northwestern are saying about playing us. If it took losing to Iowa and Michigan to get to 7-2, that's fine with me.

He also needs to realize it is okay to hand the ball off. I had to leave late in the 2nd half (when Nelson went into the locker room) and Grimm and Thompson kept mentioning that the back would have done much better on the option play that Leidner continued to keep...
