Help!! who is the best MN high school point guard in this year's class? I'm heading into the cities on Wednesday and would like to get my own impression, but I don't know if I go to the Target Center or Williams Arena since there will be a couple of real prospects at both sites playing at the same time. It's not likely to happen, but which point guard would look best in maroon and gold?

There's a kid at Columbia Heights but I can't talk about him at risk of being banned. :D

if you want a lot of points from your point guard go watch Zach Lofton from Columbia Heights, if you want your point guard to control the game and get his teammates the points go watch Siyani Chambers from Hopkins.
Much better chance of Chambers being a Gopher than Lofton but they haven't offered him yet. I was out of town over the weekend and haven't checked high school scores yet but if Apple Valley is still in it, Tyus Jones is the kid the Gophers really want, but he will definitely not be a Gopher next year.

Take a look at Taylor Stafford of Duluth East. Saw him go for 36 against Hopkins a few weeks ago. He's a junior.

estan taylor is pretty good, eh?

8th grader from pelican rapids is a stud already.

Go see Columbia heights, I won't say any names either...
I am also afraid of being banned.
But when u see the team u'll know who it is.
Anytime I've seen em play he puts on a good show.

Lofton is NOT a point guard.

He doesnt currently start at PG, but he seems very capable to me...
I heard through the grapevine that one game this year when he had a season low 3 points,
but he ended up with at least 15 assist in a decisive win.
Granted it's just hear say, I didnt witness this personally.
