The student section was AWESOME on Saturday against Western Illinois! I thought, for the size of the section consider, it was one of the loudest and they have been! Great job!

Was disappointing to see it not as full as the opener, but a) the 2 weeks off, b) the opponent, c) the game time all affected attendance. That said, they filled 95% of the lower bowl by the end of the 1st and about a quarter of the upper deck area. They were loud, fun, and stayed well into the 4th for the most part. Great work, and I'm hoping a win on Saturday and the 2:30 game time vs Iowa brings a packed student section.

Watching on TV I noticed how loud and crazy they were and then the camera showed the whole stadium and I saw how light the upper deck was. Great job to the ones that were there. Now get your friends to join you and this Saturday should be crazy. Then...those friends can bring friends to the IOWA game and keep the black and gold out of our seats and continue the tradition of Floyd being brought back/kept in his rightful place.

I got a laugh from that too I had to explain to my girlfriend (who I'm trying to covert in to an avid gopher fan as well) why we hate Iowa!

I was thinking the same thing. I would like to hear the "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry" again this Saturday and the "U" was awesome. The students that are there seem to be having a blast.
