Was out of town for about a week, not enough time to look at all the threads. A quick recap on how Gophers did in Canada, please? Don't need every detail, just the basics:

1. How'd we do (W-L record)?

2. Who were our studs?

3. Did any of the newcomers have significant stats?

Thanks, eh.

1. 3-0
2. Devoe, Blake, Trevor, maybe Mo
3. Mo Walker had a couple double-doubles in games 2 & 3.

Minor injuries to Al Nolen and Ralph Sampson, hopefully it's nothing to serious. Devoe did not seem to be hampered by his injury and took over at times.

Mo Walker was the biggest surprise to me.
Hollins looks long and has a nice looking jumper.
Mav looks like a hardworker, but is a turnover machine and looks overmatched.

The real interesting part was when Big Ten post brothers Ralph and Colton placed a mouse in a Gatorade bottle in an attempt to get free Gatorade from Tubby.

FREE BEER

Barn Boy is right, Strange Brew might be the best movie ever. " I have a friend, who is a cop, and he said if there is a mouse in our bottle that we get free beer" . Combining Strange Brew and Gopher basketball is a masterpiece

Joseph led team by averaging 17.3 ppg for tour, so I guess that settles things about him being healthy. He shot 54.5 percent from the field.

Hoffarber (13 ppg), Mbakwe (11 ppg) and Iverson (10.3 ppg) also averaged in double figures in three games. Walker led frosh with 8.3 ppg.

Walker is a big dude, but not athletic. If he doesn't pump fake, then he's going to get swatted in the post in the Big Ten.

Strange brew, indeed...

"I'd kiss you but I have puke breath.... sorry about your sweater."
