1949 was a weak fencing year. I think everyone knows that. The fencing wars of the mid-40s (against the australian kangaroo colonies) really depleted the collegiate fencing ranks. Bunch of Rutgers top fencers chose to stay here and fence instead of protecting the outback. Sad history but its important to note.
Then its 29. IS dance a school sponsored sport? I honestly don't know. Maybe Flip just sponsors it?
No clue - if they ain't on scholarship it's simply a glorified club sport/activity IMO.
It sounds like we have an elite dance program. I am sure we can thank Maturi in part for that.

I believe fully funded by Flip Saunders. I think he gave $1 million. His daughters danced and coach/coached.
