Was just checking out how SH was doing in Miami and he is listed as the 3rd string LT for The FMU game.

Florence Henderson, the mom from the Brady Bunch.

Who is third string right tackle? How about the backup DE?

Yeah his Dad is going to rap during halftime.

Wah wah, you let an 18 year old break your heart by not picking the Gophs. BFD

But seriously, that's the hardest position in the game for a true frosh to come in and play right away

Seantrell is either going to figure it all out and contribute THIS YEAR or he is going to continue to be lazy and go down as one of the biggest recruiting busts of all time. He was so lazy at the end of the season last year that CDH started running the ball to the other side because they were having more success. He was not the best High School O-line guy on his team at the end of the year last year (Go ask the coaches who prepared to play CDH)....though he was still by far the best prospect on the team for size and strength alone.

Yup, I'm sure none of that had anything to do with running away from Seantrel's side (doing the opposite of what most would expect), and nothing at all to do with defenses stacking toward his side of the field, anticipating they would always run behind him. Nope, nothing at all.

Rather, the more likely scenario is that CDH had an OL better than one of the top players in the nation on their own team. Yeah, that's the ticket.

So what is this kid's name? The Gophers should get in early. Surely they will have to beat out Alabama, Texas, and Florida for his services.

At this time I feel the only appropriate response to this is a quote from Billy Madison:

what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

didn't he have something to do with muppets? I thought he died.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and suggest the bizarre chain of events that led up to SH arriving at the U of Miami's football facility may have played a signifcant part in where he is on the depth chart. My understanding is he couldn't have any contact with or assistance from the Miami staff until he showed up at their door. He missed lots of workouts and time to learn their system all the while he could have been acclimating to college life. I implore you, don't give up on SH just yet. He still has time to be make onto the field sometime in the next 5 years.

Anyone who thought a freshman LT was just going to saunter onto campus and start at a BCS school is delusional. It happens, oh, about never.

I'm sorry Rose but you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I saw every single CDH game last year (begining to end), I am an alum, and a good friend of mine is on the coaching staff...Henderson was certainly the best OL on the team last year from the begining of the season until the end. There would hardly be anyone around the entire program who would even hint that this kid is lazy. In fact last Jan I was asking the head coach about Henderson and he said that Seantrel was probably the best football player he has ever coached (and he's been there forever).

He will be fine and he will be a big time college football player. I am much more concerned about the GOphers now, and I wish he woujld have come to MN, but there is no need to sound bitter.

This from a school that has produced Chris Weinke, Matt Birk, Corbin Lacina, Joe Mauer, Ryan Harris, etc.
