Just wanted to say hello to all you Gopher fans. I'm a KU grad living in Indiana, so I get to see my share of Big 10 football. Spent three years living and working in Minneapolis (Eden Prairie to be exact) and loved every minute of it. Even the giant Halloween blizzard of '91. It's a beautiful city and I hated to leave. (And I miss Leann Chin's.)
Hard to say how this game is going to play out. I know most of my fellow Jayhawk fans are predicting something along the lines of a 14- to 21-point victory. I have a hunch it's going to be closer but I think that playing in what is, far and away, the best conference in the nation this year has toughened us up plenty for this game. I say a 7-10 point win for my Jayhawks.
I don't imagine you all are any happier about the NFL Network than we are, but what a way to kick off New Year's Eve! At least we've got that going for us.
