His second three-pointer of the night tied him with Michael Bauer for the most three-pointers in a career for the Gopher at 197 -- and he has the BTT and hopefully another tournament (beginning with a capital "N") to play yet this year and all of next year to set a standard that will be hard to match let alone beat. Way to go Blake!

Hopefully he wont leave early so he can expand that record!

He still has a way to go to get the real record. The NCAA doesn't count the season, but the Gophers should.

Voshon Lenard 276

*Edited* I believe VL was said to have been caught up in the scandal, graduated before he had to admit to anything. If he was eventually cleared (I never heard he was?), my apologies.

One thing that has gone unrecognized is that the new records are from a longer distance than those set by the previous players.

So the Gophers should include players in their record books who cheated in school?
Self Righteous drivel. I'm all for it.
By the way how did Vashon Leanard cheat? I don't recall that.

There is a reason that the stats of those who were involved in the most egregious type of misconduct a student can commit were wiped from the books.

Those who were involved? I don't think Voshon cheated so get your facts straight. If one player on the team cheated, the season was wiped out, but that doesn't mean Voshon did anything wrong. The first couple years of Voshon's career were not wiped out and still count in the records.

Hats off to Blake for being 79 3's away from Vo. What a joke!

I completely agree, but I'm pretty sure the NCAA strictly prohibits this.

Not sure why it's a joke. Blake has a few games left this year and his entire senior year left and quite possibly could catch Vo. If he does or comes close, that will be quite an accomplishment. If your disdain is that the "record" ain't no real record, then I agree.
