I'll start this out: Whomever we're playing that week.

Popcorn skunks

Hogeyes
Everyone else

i hate anyone not nammed minnesota.. but if i had to choose one game that the gophers would win every year... hands down Wisc..

I'd rather beat Michigan than anyone - our historic Little Brown Jug foe. The "hatred" for Wisconsin and Iowa escapes me, although some of their fans have been less than civilized (compare with Nebraska's fans in Lincoln). Love to win those games, but hatred? Can't remember any when Bob McNamara single-handedly beat Iowa 22-20 in 1954, or Sandy Stephens and Tom Brown did it in what turned out to be the national championship game of 1960. Joy on those two Saturdays!

Looking at the poll, Wisconsin is clearly the "winner".

I know for a fact there are many so called Wisconsin fans on this board. Is it be possible that we have have many Badger fans that have a deep seated hate for Wisconsin and this is their opportunity to lash out (at themselves)?

Tough one for me, I pretty much dislike Wiscansan and Iowa equally. But, the edge goes to Wiscansan even though I know more people who are Iowa fans and it is always fun to rub a victory in there faces!

I'm actually going to go with NDSU. Yes, earlier before the game against them I posted about how I genuinely liked the Bison. In my opinion they have the worst fans I have ever seen. Maybe it was a few jerks who sat by me, but it finally got to me that sense of "give them respect." Yes, they are a very good 1-aa team, but I don't need to worship the ground they walk on.

Currently it is hard to hate Iowa because we have their number right now, also in recent memory gives them a positive, I actually sat next to a couple of real good guys from Iowa who just wanted to watch a college football game. They were cheering for their team and I was cheering for mine. We talked about all things Big Ten related during halftime. I really don't like Wisconsin either.

I say Michigan for the following Big Picture reasons.

1. The paranoid cheap bastards brought their own water with them to play the Gophers in Minneapolis because they were afraid we would poison any water we gave them. They then had the gall to ask for the return of their twenty-five cent jug because they forgot to take it home with them.

2. How many times has Michigan prevented Minnesota from having a chance to win a Big Ten or National Championship in football, basketball, hockey, baseball, etc. Probably many more times than Wisky and the Hogeyes combined.

The above reasons are why my vote goes to Michigan. Their arrogance far outstrips that of Wisconsin and Iowa. Since we're now playing them every year in football that arrogance will soon become apparent.

Wisconsin, and primarily for this reason...

...what a complete ASS

Big Ten Football wouldn't be nearly as fun without rivals. I don't hate any Big Ten Programs. I value beating any Big Ten Team.

It IS nice to win a border battle game and it is nice to have a trophy or two at our house.

In the future, I hope the Gophers win the Jug more often than they have in the past. IF they can do that, Floyd and The Axe will find their way into our trophy case as well.

I would LOVE to beat the badgers on Saturday...but...it would also be really good to beat NU in Evanston in a couple of weeks.

I just want the Gophers to be truely competetive in the Big Ten Conference in Football!

Beat wisky!

Laughing my arse off at this!!!!! The fact that someone can actually with a straight face give NDSU as an option is so laughable!!!!

Where is the option for the Dakota teams? They own you guys! That's gotta get tiring.

Nope - still hate the Badgers more.

Their arrogance far outstrips that of Wisconsin and Iowa.

The difference is that Michigan actually has something to be arrogant about. Wisconsin and Iowa's arrogance stems from being a better-than-average Big Ten team for a few years here and there.

I don't hate the Wisconsin football program. I loathe the portion of their fanbase that chooses to run their mouths nonstop about the results of football games that they had absolutely nothing to do with. If John Clay wants to come on here an boast about his athletic accomplishments, he's earned it. If some bucktoothed dullard from Racine (who wouldn't know the difference between a thigh pad and a chinstrap) likes to puff out his little chest and brag about Wisconsin's dominance, more power to him. Most of us are wise enough to realize that he's just trying to compensate for one of the many, many shortcomings in his otherwise pathetic little life.

Which is pretty much all of them. They really do think they have always been good. The fact is they won't have a winning percentage against the Gophers until 2016 assuming they win the next 6 games.
Here's how Wisucksin has fared all time against their big rivals:

Iowa 42 wins 42 losses
Michigan 14wins 49 losses
Mich St. 17 wins 28 losses
Minnesota 53 wins 59 losses
Ohio St. 18 wins 54 losses

A pitiful .383 winning percentage.

Easy one. Wisconsin Badgers.

The state is pretty great, but the football fans are the worst by far. Just so clueless about the game in general. I've never talked to so many opposing fans who know so little about football. The behavior seals the deal though. I've witnessed things (bathroom sex not included) that only could be done by a Badger fan. They are worse than animals...wait...that is an insult to animals. Sorry animals.

There's one day left to vote. This Poll closes tomorrow.

There seems to be a "watershed moment" that gives people a reason to hate a team. I'll try and sum them up (please add to the hate if I leave something out):

Michigan:
1. Paranoid football players brought their own water thinking the nice people of Minnesota would poison their water.
2. Big House and constant media coverage covering a mediocre team
3. Rich Rod

Iowa
1. Goal Post incident
2. Defiling our bathrooms
3. Returning the hate (yes they hate us)

Wisconsin (please add more)
1. Brett Bielema
2. Running up score and then blaming it on an imaginary card
3. Arrogant Fan Base

I'm certain there's more....

PSU is gaining in the hate poll - The holier than thou psu and JoePa "its all about me" deserves some votes.

This. I have respect for all the players and coaches in college football who work their tails off to be the best they can be. They are the only ones who have truly accomplished anything. Unfortunately, many fans (especially Wisky fans) somehow think they personally are "winners" and have accomplished something because they watched a game and had a few beers.

2 more votes for Wisconsin will do it.

Wisconsin - the team you love to hate.
