As muddled as Sid can be, I work in the medical research field and I'll say that nothing is impossible. There are things in the research pipeline that would blow your mind.
Now, they are not approved safe yet, or even tested in trials yet, but there are researchers moving towards numerous cures or treatments that will be earth shaking when they come out.
If Kill is working with a top seizure scientist or doctor/researcher, I don't doubt him when he says he can be cured.

I agree. I am no expert, nor do I work in the field, but have read many articles in which scientists speculate that the medical advancements in the next 10-20 years will make the past 200 look like they were standing still.
