Honest question was Dungy a great player? Is he being nominated for let he did as an NFL coach, because this should be for what you accomplish in the college game. I really don't know much about Dungy the gopher, other than he went here

This is the NFL Hall of Fame, not the college HOF. So he was nominated for what he did in the NFL, as a coach, the success he had as a coach, his winning percentage, his Super Bowl win, and also the influence he had on the game as a whole, all of which should get him in, maybe as a first time nominee even.


But as a college player, as a Gopher, he ranks among the Top 10 QBs in Gopher history.
 

Dungy was a good player. Good enough to play in the NFL. How many college players can say that? Awesome coach though and a stand up guy.
 



I think Dungy is one of the only players to win a Super Bowl and then go to win a Super Bowl as a coach. It's possible he is the only one to have done that? He was one of the 2 coaches named to the NFL All-Decade Team of the 2000s. That makes him the 8th Gopher to make it onto an NFL All-Decade Team.
 


Well, now I hope we get one of these 2 in, along with getting some recruiting battle wins, as there are no other fb wins we can gain until September otherwise.
