What a great freakin' job done by Clayes and the defensive staff. I was pretty sure we were done for at the half but "Jerry's TEAM" damn sure doesn't quit! We've had bigger upsets wins but right now, I don't know when I've been happier to be a Gopher fan!!

WOW!!!!

Agreed. This coaching staff is going to do things the way they want (like Eric Cartman) and sometimes seems determined to stick with their way regardless of what's happening, but I thought both Claeys and Limegrover made adjustments (Claeys using more zone; Limegrover using play-action) that were extremely important.

Claeys has been in an interesting predicament both of the last weeks, in that both the Purdue and NW offenses were undergoing major schematic changes within the last few weeks, and both came at us with a few gimmicky looks. Without a lot of film to study, that's a tough thing to prep for. Credit to Purdue for their first half scheme. Credit to Claeys for figuring out a way to take it away in the second. Purdue pretty much had the long run in the second, and nothing else. Impressive effort by the D to stay engaged after a tough half and make plays to win the game.

Going from man-to-man to zone made a big difference. Kudos for the switch.

Purdue had 18 passing yards in second half.
