Ra'Shede Hageman offered up his ideal bowl location after the Gophers' 14-3 loss at Michigan State in their regular-season finale Saturday.

"I really want to go down to Florida," the University of Minnesota senior defensive tackle said. "Beaches, weather, sand, girls, you know."

Benedict said the Gophers received 3,000 commitments for tickets after a survey was sent out to fans to gauge their interest in traveling to the Gator Bowl. He said many of the 7,000-plus alumni and people with ties to the program living in Florida could purchase tickets, too.

"I would tell you that if we go to the Gator Bowl, then we would more than double what we did last year (3,600 tickets)," Benedict said.

Even if we doubled our bowl ticket sales from last year, it would still only account for slightly less than half of our allotment to the Gator Bowl.

Bowling Green needs to hang on for 10 more minutes and Okie State and Baylor need to win tomorrow so we get the ACC or Pac-12 in Houston.
