Got to the fairgrounds lot about 2 hours early. We grilled up brats and burgers with some tasty beers. Went with the Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Warsteiner's since I'm missing Octoberfest this year and Boddington's as it is my favorite. Perfect weather to sit under the Minnesota tent we put between the cars. My wife and I lost 3-2 to our good friends at The Minnesota Sand Bag toss game. It was nice weather to sit at the stadium, as the wind wasn't too bad. The band sounded really good. We did get accosted by ushers as we tried to walk to the top of the stadium at halftime, but I've come to expect that from the U. Our good friends decided they needed to leave after the 3rd quarter to get their two young kids from the baby-sitters, so my wife and I decided to go with. I knew I had seen this exact game many times, so there was no reason to stay until the end. Glad I went, despite the actual football game...
