Weather was nice, entertaining game. Got to spend the day with my brother and parents, which is nice. We did head out after the Northwestern field goal, because it was pretty obvious Weber wouldn't lead us to a win, so that wasn't a surprise. We beat the rush of people to the bus back to the fairgrounds. There isn't much to say about this team anymore. They are as bad as they look....

I agree with your first sentence. Game was a blast, great weather, fantastic tailgating rowdy crowd (at least where I was sitting). It's a real shame because the bank is a fantastic place to watch a game, and I literally have the best time of my week, right up until we lose.

Its why we should all still have hope that this program can be special. It just needs to have the right leadership and internal strategy to get there. It'll take something really special and tangible for the fan base to buy in after brew though.

Then why even come to the game? If it's "pretty obvious Weber wouldn't lead us to a win", then there was no chance of us winning anyways.

There were a few groups of people in our section that left after NW scored to get within 2 in the 4th quarter. Couldn't believe it. "Beat the traffic!"

Anyways, I agree it was an awesome fall day to watch college football. Even though it was a loss, it still was a good game to watch.

What kind of fan - whether you think it'll happen or not - leaves with a minute left when we're down by 1 and have the ball? Get out of here.

Ditto.

A NON-fan in my book. Or at the very least a fan who should be embarrassed. We were looking around, given there were closer to two minutes left than 1, wondering how the he!! people could be leaving.

A lack of confidence is one thing but to miss a potential comeback is stupid.

Congrats on getting to your bus though.

Wow, the way the 'true' fans kick out those that aren't up to snuff is amazing. With that kind of attitude the 'true' fans will be able to meet in a phone booth by the end of the season.

We stayed to the end and even sang "Hail, Minnesota", and we made our bus too. Weird how that happened.
