Gutie

I went to HS with his son Mike, good person and good family.

There was also a little blurb abut Trestman in there. This guy http://en.montrealalouettes.com/page/tim-burke was a grad asst for the Gophers on a Cal Stoll team and maybe a Salem team too. He and I went to Luther College and we both played with on an average DIII team in the late '70's (well, he played and I watched).

I like how detailed the resume is. However, somebody should notify the Alouettes that the 1977 Gophers were a "Hall of Fame Classic Finalist". I would but I don't speak Français.

Guys on the 89 team were nice. Melander could crush the weights and DT44 would just come in after hours and keep on lifting. Rob Rogers and I became good friends-Rob went back to STL to get his law degree. Now if I could just find something nice to say about Ron Goetz.

I always like Gutey

I think he was a good coach. He had 4 winning seasons in 6, and had some nice wins
over Iowa and Michigan.
