also agree. although i think it is dead regardless of either of those things.. this is not a story that has legs. it will burn itself out relatively soon. and a.j. barker has done more damage to himself with how he went about it than any damage he thought he was going to do to coach kill and our university of minnesota.

told you. this thing is already in its final throws, burning out, struggling to remain the "hot" topic. even locally. not even a full 24 hours later. B1G expansion and a realization by most that a.j. was completely out of line in this has completely trumped his online temper tantrum. too bad, so sad for a.j. and his family advisers and mom's friend. so sorry.

I think the story will simmer locally for a couple more weeks, but the national media has absolutely no need for AJ Barker to fill time.
