Go Gophers!!

Foot back in the door to College Football. Will be a top Candidate for many schools in one year. It probably kept him from getting a job this year.

And the rich get richer.

We need to wait for the official announcement. If Shiano is announced as Co-defensive Coordinator, things a pretty much status quo, if not, Luke Fickell's status is very much an open question.

Amazing that a former NFL head coach has to job share as a coordinator in college, especially with all the current college head coach openings. That's not a typical career path for that type of resume.

Fickle may not be "co" anymore.

Yeah, but his tenure in Tampa Bay was a complete and total disaster. I think that tarnished his reputation a lot.

I understand that, but if Lane Kiffin can parlay an equally disasterous tenure with Oakland into not one but two college head coaching gigs with Tennessee and USC, then surely Schiano could get something bigger than a co-coordinator role.
