Ron Franklin fired by ESPN for comments to female co-worker.
Please explain.
What did he say to the co-worker? I missed the story I guess.
They were preparing for the Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl. I would have come up with a way better line.
I worked with Franklin when he was at ESPN and I was in the KU SID office. My boss was an attractive female and she was the head SID for the KU football program. He walked into the weekly media/SID meeting and my boss started to give the overview of the Jayhawks and he said "hey sweet tits, I can't hear you" in front of about five of us. My boss asked him to leave and he said no. The KU AD had to come in and ask him to leave the office.
It shouldn't have taken 10+ years for this to happen. The incident with my boss wasn't the first time he made a comment like this and clearly not his last.
Go Gophers!!
I call women "sugar tits" all the time. I don't understand the problem.![]()
