Other than a good running game, an inexperienced QBs best friends are the swing pass and a good TE in the middle of the field. Lair's shown some flashes, let's hope he builds on that.

Mackey really revolutionized the position as he was one of the first (if not the first) TE who was a reliable downfield threat.

Nice to see Lair get some recognition. I'm hoping Kill finds a way to capitalize on his talents in the new offensive sets, especially given the question marks at WR.

Lair's another guy who would have been well served by a redshirt year (but I've gone on enough about that). He's come a long way as a player and if he improves his blocking, he may be a guy who will play on Sundays in the future.
