Yep. This was not a great NC team by any stretch of the imagination, but a great win for us right now.
 

i can't believe it! what an all-around team performance, great team effort
 

My math could be off but I think we went 8 for 10 in our last 10 trips to the line! Way to to lock that one down, we deserved to win it and we kept our composure down the stretch even when they pulled close. GREAT win! Although, I have a feeling NC is overrated at this point, but maybe we are just that good?? I hope so!
 





I'm mostly glad we got to shutdown the second coming of Christ (Harrison Barnes). First team All-American my ass. I know it's an off night, but All American's don't have games where they shoot 0-13.

Wow great win, we controlled that whole second half. I wouldn't be surprised if we are ranked in the low teens if we bet WV on Sunday.
 

Huge game by Nolen...best game I've seen him play since Louisville. Big props to Al, he was everywhere tonight.
 

Gophers could use some work on the lob passes. Missed about 5 easy dunks because of crappy lobs.
 



Colt 11 boards in 13 minutes! Great win for this program but I have a feeling we are going to be seeing much better teams in the Big 10 season.
 


It feels good to beat a good (albeit a bit overrated) team. Nice to get a huge win over a top 10 team...now if only the football team could win a game over a ranked team.

Barnes looked very over rated. he is going to have a good college career, perhaps short. But he is not the second coming. Hollins and Armelin are just fine thank you.
 

Reminds me of the Louisville game

And will likely be just as big come Selection Sunday.
Nolen was the most poised and effective guard on the floor.
Did anybody outside MN expect our backcourt to outplay theirs?
Add Devoe to the mix and we could contend.
Really big win. feels good. no let-up now... Let's bring a trophy home!

Nolen - great 2nd half, Hoff, Mbakwe, really some great performances tonight. This team is still a work in progress but this really looks like a team in the true sense. These guys are playing hard together. Great win!
 


Despite being surprised we were actually in the lead for most of the game...I'm very happy with the result.

Barnes is great...just young. I like our guys...but Barnes will be one of the 10 best players in NCAA come tourny time and I don't want to face this team in March...they have a bunch of new players...they will come together and be very good.

Now wait for gopheralum to congratulate us on beating a directional school. But yeah, this win excites me for the rest of the season (moreso than I already was). And we didn't even have Devoe.

Yeah, me too. I feel bad for him getting picked AA. It just throws that much more pressure on his shoulders.
