Gophers beat Purdue by 15 points last year and Brew is angry and will have the team fired up. I'm expecting Gophers to win handily by 2 or 3 touchdowns. Weber will have another good game, Gray, McKnight, Allen and Lair will run all over the field catching passes and the running game will contribute. Purdue's defense won't be able to stop the Gophers. Brew is using this game to get the season back on track. Go Gophers.

If they win by 2 scores, they will easily beat PSU the next week. We will be 3-5 (2-2) going into the OSU game against the number 1 team in the country.

Lets party.

Hope this team gets some sort of silver lining to their season....

Based on this team's uncanny ability to pull that defeat out of nowhere, I fully expect us to lose.

Hope I'm wrong. But I have very little to base any hope on.

I said before conference play that Brew would have to be at least 4-4 in big ten play with 2 signature wins to stay for another year. Do the math it isn't looking good.

When we finish 6-2 and in the Capital One bowl all you guys will be eating crow.

I realize you being sarcastic, but there's no way the Capital One Bowl picks a 7-5 Gopher team even if they were to hypotheically beat OSU, Iowa, and MSU.

If we are 6-2, it means the Big Ten sucks pretty bad. We might end up in the rose Bowl due to a 4+ way tie for the conference title.

Even if the Gophers went 6-2, a whole bunch of games would have to fall in their favor for this scenario to occur. That would be mind-boggling.

I've figured adamweberforpresident out. He is a Hawkeye or Badger fan acting like he is blind homer. Don't be fooled by his ridiculous posts every week.

I don't think anyone is fooled about AWfP's weekly prediction. Whether or not he/she is a Hawkeye or Badger fan....well that is probably true haha.

One of these weeks you'll be correct!

I like this weekly bit. We need more bits on this site.

I want to be your bookie

Seriously, I could take you to Vegas with me and just bet the opposite of whatever you wager. I've always dreamed of paying off my mortgage 7 years early.

...hmm, I don’t think so, the only difficult one is Purdue. A win there and then 6-2 is easy.

PSU – they are down and it is a home game.

OSU – you know that story about a million monkeys typing for a million years and you might get a Shakespearian tome, well we have played OSU now for a million years and every once in a while we will win, might as well do it when they are ranked one.

MSU – we have had a good run against them recently and as we all know the immediate past record is more important than their present team.

Illinois – thank God this is in memorial stadium, are we not undefeated there in "Wisconsin years."

Iowa – By this time, in spite of our record the “bench Weber/fire Brewster” chants would have got so loud that there will be 20,000 black and gold shirts in Minneapolis for a home game in Kinnick North. As they will all be in the Metrodome, TCF will be empty. This will motivate the Gophers for a win. Think about it; imagine an empty home stadium for what was once a top ten team this will surely motivate any visiting team.

Great prediction! And here come the flying monkeys! Brew has only handily beaten one team during his tenure.

Completely hopefull while utterly hopeless homer or rival fan mascarading as such, I gives not a damn...

AdamWeberForPresident's weekly comedic contribution to this season is priceless. I love his predictions so much. The lack of them in the off-season will just make things that much more boring and bleak.

You are my favorite poster.

The Gophers have covered the spread in every game this year except Northern Illinois, 4-1 (no point spread for South Dakota). You would have made a ton of money this year betting on the Rodents.

Badgers, on the other hand, are 0-5 ATS for the season (no spread for Austin Peay). Betting against the Badgers would have made you an even bigger pile of money this year.

If Adam Weber were president, one can only speculate what form his political theory might take.

While Adam Smith posited the existence of the "invisible hand of the market", Adam Weber might posit the existence of the "invisible hands of Marqueis Gray".

While Max Weber put forward the "monopoly of legitimate violence in a given territory" as a theory of the state, Adam Weber might speculate on the "lack of legitimate play call in the opposing teams territory" as a theory for the failure of the two minute offense.

Beautiful.

Seriously???? And what's the point? I can't say I want them to lose, but what would be gained by a win anyhow? We just need a change and we don't need any more confusion.

all i know is that AWFP needs to share whatever he's smoking. thats some good *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#
