Gophers will have six practices open to the public

University of Minnesota head football coach P.J. Fleck has announced that the Gophers will have six practices open to the public prior to Minnesota starting the season at home against Buffalo on Aug. 31.

Practices open to the public are on Aug. 4, 5, 8, 11, 15 and 17.

Minnesota Football Preseason Camp Dates Open To The Public
Aug. 4, 6:00 p.m. - Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex
Aug. 5, 3:30 p.m. - Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex
Aug. 8, 3:30 p.m. - Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex
Aug. 11, 4:15 p.m. - Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex
Aug. 15, 3:30 p.m. - Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex
Aug. 17, 3:30 p.m. - Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex

Well, it appears to be good news imo regarding practice times for at least the first 17 days. They are not at 6am. I just don't think that would be a good idea when are starting off with night games. Something like a 12 and 16 hour time difference to game time from the morning routine for those first two games, if it was 6am practices as advertised earlier.
 

I wish they were earlier for my own schedule, but that's just me.

Agreed. I hadn't heard that we changed that, but glad we did.
