In 2012, Devin Gardner saw his first game action against Minnesota ... promptly going 12/18 for 234 and 2 TDs. He has started almost every Michigan game since - the only exception being last year's bowl game which he missed with an injury.
Coming in to this week, there is a question at Michigan about who gets the start - Gardner, or backup sophomore southpaw Shane Morris.
It may be an irrational fear, but I'm terrified of Morris getting the call and having the age-old "breakout" game against our defense. There is a little tape on him (he has 20 attempts in 2014, and the bowl game last year) so hopefully that's not the case. Regardless, something to keep an eye on as we inch toward Saturday in Ann Arbor.

- Brady Hoke, SaturdayWe'll compete and challenge like we have every day. We'll have a starting quarterback against Minnesota.
