Nice, figured as such. No way they were putting a game any later with OSU-Michigan on tap

Surprised to see Michigan/OSU on at 11:00. I thought that would be a prime time game on Saturday night.

Only the past few years because Michigan sucked. It used to be prime time every year at 2:30.
I can't think of a better rival game, this year than OSU/Michigan. Auburn/Alabama is always good, but not as good this year.
No big deal that MI/OSU is at 11:00. It just surprised me.

Didn't the BIG avoid night games later on in November? Unless each school wanted to play at that time?

Michigan-Ohio State is always going to be noon on ABC national.

hmmm...define 'past few years'. Looks like every game except for 4 since 1990 have been noon EST kickoffs (3 of those 4 were 1pm EST kicks). I see one 'prime time' kickoff

No they only played at 2:30 once, and that was in 2006 when it was #1 vs #2. Every other time it's the early game.

I believe I read somewhere that the AD's wanted an early start for this game to hopefully keep the rowdiness of the two fan bases under control. Later games allow for more tailgating (drinking). As if that is going to stop them.

I won't argue. I was going by memory and my recall had it as an ABC game at 2:30.

I think the Michigan v tOSU game was decided since the beginning of the season. Very few night games in FBS next Saturday.
