Go Gophers!!

Line in the video most likely to entice trolls

"Next time you see the football spiraling down the field propelled by a gopher quarterback" :horse:

and this thread will be spiraling out of control.

Seriously - a lot of QB's have been very successful without throwing a classic type of "pretty" spiral. Joe Kapp with the Vikings threw a lot of wounded ducks, but he got his team into the Super Bowl.

Leidner is never going to win on style points - but he's a hard-nosed guy and the team seems to respond to him. Of the back-ups, I think Croft probably throws a better ball right now compared to Green, but I suspect Green may be a slightly better athlete - and is definitely a lot stronger at this stage in their careers.

The old line about Kapp is that his passes were easy to catch because you can catch them on either end.

Peyton Manning camp taught leidner to use the wabble to adjust for different speeds of different receivers.

Manning used to always throw a wabbler across the middle to stokley. Problem was he did it with Austin collie as well and he's a vegetable now.

Too be fair, all passes thrown in that video were from the hands of #7, even the "rare" wobbly one.

Ah, Manning Camp. IALTO.

Remember all the discussions on here about how much that will help ML7 and the angst felt when the coaches didn't send PN9? There are some silly folks that post here.

And some posters are simply volume posters. They post all day long, and offer nothing.

Remember our motto is "Brick by Brick." Just throwing that out there. ;)

My favorite quote was from Jim Klobuchar in the post game vs. the Colts in 1969 when Kapp threw 7 TDs: "...the amazing part was that all seven of them were caught by his own team."
