Great time slot!!

per Amelia:

"Looks like the #Gophers will be playing around 9 p.m. on Friday night. Whenever the Florida-Northwestern St. game is done."

Go Gophers!!

I would have rather had the late afternoon game but it looks like the game will be on Tru Tv and I'm not even sure I get that channel so I may end up listening to Grimm and Spencer anyway.

Good time...sort of. We'll be settled in a St. Cloud hotel by that time, but we have an early morning the next day for my daughter's state USGA gymnastics championship meet, so it'll be minimal sleep after the glorious victory. But way better than when we'd have to be on the road!

Hmm...wonder if the hotel gets TruTV. Better check - might have to stream it instead.

Go Gophs!

Tru TV is a pretty common channel. What is your provider?

Sjobergs Cable up in NW Minnesota, I have been trying to get them to add it for a while but it hasn't gotten done as of yet and I have the same problem with them not having BTN too.

Much better than being the first game that night. The hockey game should be in the late stages by the time the basketball game starts. C'mon Friday, get here already.

I love it. As long as it wasn't 11 am. This team has come out flat in too many early starts.

Yikes, no BTN?

Here is the "exact time" along with the network and the broadcast crew.

9:57, truTV, Austin: No. 6 UCLA vs. No. 11 Minnesota (Brando/Gminski/Livingston)(time is ET)Subtract an hour for CT

If you don't have Tru TV, try the March Madness Live app for an iPhone, iPad, or Android. Assuming you have one of those anyway

You get 4 free hours of streaming on your PC (for games that are not on CBS) through the official march madness website. Just save your streaming for strictly gopher games and you might be able to get 2 full games out of it.

Wish the Gophers were not on TruTv for exposure sake, but LOVE the late game!

Thanks for the info.

Hopefully the game before it runs a little long so the WCHA semifinal can wrap up just in time to switch over for the tip off. Go Gophs.

Doesn't CBS local affiliate have opportunity to change that?

I'm not sure. Last year I had all four channels so I was happy, but you would think the local affiliates would get to choose.

No. All games are now national on one of CBS/TBS/TNT/TruTv. The Gophers are on TruTV for everyone.

if i am not mistaken aren't a lot of the 1st round games on trutv? and only small amount of the first round games are actually on CBS i thought. i.e. basically a way for CSB/Viacom to get exposure for their trutv network isn't it?

Each of the four stations gets the four games per day the first two days, so all 16 games are split amongst the four stations.

It's a heck of a workout for your fingers and remote controls!

Go Gophers!!
