Gophers showing interest in Reggie Lynch??

I saw Reggie a few times this season and he seems like a low major prospect. He has a few offers from a few MVC schools like Drake. Lynch tells Rivals that he's receiving a lot of interest lately from Minnesota. Has he improved that much this summer? He seems like a poor man's Krys Faber from this past year. He is Kevin Lynch's nephew.

Do the Gophers really want him? What do others think? Is he scholarship worthy?
 


I watched Reggie play in the Section tournament vs. Minnetonka and he had 10 blocks in the first half, it was unbelieveable. He is long and lanky, fairly raw offensively however.
 


Reggie Lynch doesn't have an offer from Minnesota yet. His visit 9/21 is not an official visit. His grades have improved, but in a recent interview with me, he indicated that he might go to Prep School.

If grades are an issue, it's unlikely he'll get a walk-on spot. In most cases, coaches look for walk-ons to be team GPA boosters.
