This will be a yardstick game. How much can the coaching staff teach from the lessons of a defeat? How much can these young men absorb? The keys will be the performance of the O line, and the passing D. if we play down to the opposition, not good. If we play with real chip on our shoulders, then it could be very good. I think this game will give a singlar look into the ability of this coaching saff to move forward and up with an underachieving franchise. Golden Gophers 55-10!
 


USC was suppose to demolish MN...just saying...the Gophers need to take every game seriously.

If lowly Ohio can hang 44 on the Aggies in Las Cruces, I imagine we can do the same. Stranger things can happen (see USD 2010), but this team could have folded up its tents last Saturday, but they didn't. I can't think of another game in the recent memory where we've been down by a wide margin and then had a chance to win in the last two minutes. This team is different. We have coaches who use their heads now.

You're being pretty transparent setting unrealistic expectations like that. Let me guess, if they don't win by 50 you will consider them fair game for ridicule. Who wins by 50 against anyone?
