Go Gophers!!

I think this is good news!! The quality of our starters may not be the best across the board but our depth has definitely improved.

i must be missing something because how can Indiana with 20 be below Wisconsin with 15?

Very overlooked statistic. Having battle-tested players allows your team to hit the ground running beginning a new season

I think the original article is about returning lettermen.

Based on the numbers in the parenthesis and assuming that those numbers are the number of returning starters, the following is the ranking of the teams with the most returning starters: (Of course, if this assumption is wrong, these numbers are totally bogus and I disavow having ever posted this comment.

If Coach Kill is who we hope he is, I think we can make some noise this year. I'm a little worried about playing Indiana on the road because if our offense struggles we may find it difficult to score with them but I think this can be a special season. Considering our upcoming schedules, I think we should all expect the Gophers to have more wins this year than the next two. I believe this upcoming season is key for Kill to establish our program as a 'tough out' and possibly win as many as 8 or 9 games. Obviously, that's being a little optimistic but that is what June is for.

I'm wondering if this is the beginning of the end for Penn St? They played some very inspired ball last year but with so many starters gone, I'm thinking depth is going to start being a problem for them.

Let's hope so.
