Gophers Recruits Square Off In Illinois Class 7A Semis

Minnesota Gopher football commit Steven Richardson leads Mt. Carmel (11-1) vs. Edwardsville (12-0) in the Illinois Class 7A semis at 3. Edwardsville is led by CB Craig James, who was expected to visit Minnesota this weekend, but canceled the trip, due to the 3:00 start.

Mt. Carmel, which won the 8A title, leads 21-0 in the second quarter over undefeated Edwardsville in the Class 7A semifinals.
