Gophers football held their annual Media Day on campus on Wednesday morning and had several players available to reporters, including RB Darius Taylor and DL Anthony Smith. KSTP Sports was there.
Taylor is entering his third season with the Gophers and is coming off a season where he led the team with 1,336 all-purpose yards. He said one of the biggest changes on the team has been the turnover in leaders as players have moved on.
“The leadership has changed,” Taylor said. “There’s different leaders in the room.”
