Gophers skate to a 3-3 tie. Wish they could have picked up the extra point in OT for the B1G standings but they are now tied for 13 in the pairwise.

We have 3 games left to play, PSU's last game is today. But we need a win tonight to help our PWR immediately, but also as it gives us a chance to flip the PSU comparison if we can meet and beat them in the Conf tourney.

Really needed to find a way to hold onto that game last night when we stole the lead.

Find a way to win tonight and we are in good shape to make the tourney and should be BIG10 champs.

Lose. Michigan becomes a must sweep and will probably need to do more to get a at large bid.

Silver lining, PSU is a Senior/Junior laden team. This season is going to be their best season SO FAR, but it could be many years before they bounce back after losing so many seniors. So if our Soph/Frosh majority lineup was able to play them so close, that is a good sign. Shows big time potential for next season when most of our team returns and our nemesis loses so many. Still hope for this season, as we only dropped down to #14, and a sweep against Michigan next weekend could really help. We are literally just .001 behind one of the teams ahead of us in the RPI and we can flip the comparison between us and Ohio St still, so we could easily move up to 12th. But we can't let up, we have to keep winning.
