Through Dec. 15.

Gophers Peer Group
1. Alabama, SEC (6-2, #24)
2. Kansas State, Big XII (7-2, #53)
3. Georgia Tech, ACC (7-2, #57)
4. Washington, Pac 12 (7-2, #68)
5. Creighton, Big East (7-3, #138)
6. GOPHERS (5-5, #167)
7. Nebraska, B1G (7-4, #177)

B1G RPI
#6 Michigan State
#23 Iowa
#32 Purdue
#54 Maryland
#76 Michigan
#78 Northwestern
#84 Indiana

The Current Divide. ...

#99 Wisconsin -- Gophers play once, @ Williams Arena
#119 Penn State -- Gophers play once, @ PSU
#144 Illinois -- Gophers play twice
#167 GOPHERS
#177 Nebraska -- Gophers play once, @ Nebraska
#201 Ohio State -- Gophers play once @ Ohio State, B1G opener
#237 Rutgers -- Gophers play twice

Gophers need to find a few wins in the bottom half of the conference, then steal one from someone at the lower end of the top half, maybe a Michigan or a Northwestern (play both of 'em twice)?

Interesting list at this point in the season:

Iowa's RPI is pretty high, they haven't impressed me at all,
Indiana has been pretty inconsistent but they can torch you offensively,
I expect Wisconsin to move up, even with Bo gone.

Beat Northwestern and/or Michigan at home and steal one at Iowa from the top half and add three or four wins from the lower half games and it would be a successful season.

I'm higher on Iowa than most. Hawkeyes not real deep, but like their starting 5.

That said, there does seem to be a clear divide. ...

Maryland, Michigan State, Purdue the upper-shelf.

Then Indiana, Iowa, and maybe Michigan?

After that it's a free-for-all, save for Rutgers locking down the cellar.
