Reality is Baylor plays in a weak post-realignment conference. Without a NC Power 5 win, Baylor had to go undefeated. They didn't. Same goes for FSU.
TCU may end up reaping the rewards of scheduling a Big Ten opponent. Why shouldn't they?
The writer's premise that no one would have been able to distinguish between the quality of Minnesota or Buffalo a few years ago is, of course, insane. Minnesota splits resources with the second most lucrative conference in the game. Buffalo barely has the resources to continue to field an FBS team. That seems to be the basis of his discontent.
