Looks like there is an article on GI about him saying the Gopher offer holds a little more meaning. Through my use of Google it looks like the Ramacher family has deep MN ties in the town of St. Francis. They moved to Denton TX just before Dom started HS (not sure why they moved, anyone know?). His mother was recently diagnosed with cancer and given 5-7 yrs to live and were recently back in St. Francis raising money for cancer research.

Thats about what I got through some newspaper articles. Anyone know anymore about the Ramacher family or Dom? Was teammates with Q Gardener last year on a LOADED Guyer team.

don't know wanything about him

but from what I read through the university of colorado (who have also offered) recruiting site is that he is being looked at by them as a TE/H-back. Watched a video of him and he is a very good blocker and seems to have excellent hands. Glad to see he is considering us and I wish his mom the best.

sounds like the u is interested in him as h-back and te too. all his family except parents and siblings live in minnesota and he considers it home. grew up watching maroney and mb3 and says they are his team and it gives the gophs a leg up. get er done kill.

Looks really solid and definitely a Kill type of player; fast, explosive, and athletic. Blocks very well. Hopefully we will see Dominic in Maroon & Gold in the future!

Looks like he does a little of everything and would be a great fit for Kill's offense.

This kid bleeds M&G true and true. He definitely will fit in Kill's system. He has explosiveness, blocks well, and is very versatile. I can see him as a combo TE/HB. He is worth pursuing.

I would of course love for him to be a Gopher, but if accurate, I hope that either his immediate family is able to come up here with him, or he chooses to go to school closer to home. I would think it would be pretty difficult being up here with a mother in Texas battling cancer.

You gotta love anyone that uses Creed music in their highlight video!!!

I love how this kid plays. Great footwork, leg drive, blocker and decent acceleration. He is a football player!!

Texas highschool fb is a couple of steps ahead of upper midwest fb.

He could be a MLB if he becomes a Gopher.

With National Signing Day just halfway over, some coaches are already moving for 2012.
For evidence, look no further than Guyer, which had 11 players sign national letters of intent today and one set to receive an appointment to Air Force.[/U][/B]
Yet, two juniors at Guyer also made news as wide receiver Conner Crane and tight end/fullback Dominic Ramacher received offers from Colorado today, according to Guyer head coach John Walsh.
Crane enjoyed a breakout season last year, catching 11 touchdown passes for Guyer and Ramacher was a machine, doing a little bit of everything including being the key to Guyer's rushing attack with his blocking ability and earned first-team 7-5A honors.

Ramacher will actually make the move to middle linebacker next season, so you can add that to the list of things he can do.

At least five D-1 signees. Wow!

Yeah, this is the kind of kid that is kind of like a Westerhaus. You just get him to sign up and find a position for him. He could potentially play TE, H-Back, MLB, OLB, DE in college. He is listed by rivals as an ATH and by ESPN as a QB. So we will see.

Another thing that I found interesting is that rivals lists him at 6'3" 230 lbs and ESPN has him at 6'3" 200 lbs. From his video, he doesn't look 230 lbs to me.

However, if this kid could get himself to be around 240 in the next 14 months (possibly if he is around 215-220) and grow an inch or two, he might be close to big enough to play DE immedietly.

He'd be great!

Nice that there is a Minnesota connection. Very sad to hear about the cancer. Hopefully they can all return to Minnesota next year and have the family all together. He looks extremely versatile, athletic, punishing, aggressive...he just looks like a player. A guy who will do whatever it takes to get it done.

Hopefully he is a Gopher but really hope there is a happy development to the family health concerns.

I forgot to say that during my assesment of this kid, it's a sad story and I hope his family deals with that situation as best they can (whatever that means).

For the Gophers, I hope he decides to come home and play football. If he stays in TX to be closer to his mother, I can't say that I blame the kid.

I assume people are being sarcastic about complementing creed (refuse to give them a capitol letter) for his highlight music, right? Sometimes I'm thankful the audio on my computer is currently broken.

Did anyone else watch the video and think Guyer was a Junior College? I had to look up his profile to see it was footage of HS football.

Since, Kill understands what cancer is all about Kill has said he gets to know the player personally first before anything else. Huge! He will be a Gopher. ;)
